A monochromatic print I made for one of my favorite musicals of all time, Heathers. I’ve liked this musical for so long it’s really surprising this is the first legitimate fanart I’ve made for it so far! 

I’m planning on making more monochromatic prints/fanart in the future! I have an idea for a JD print to match this one that I may post soon after this one so if you like it look forward to that : ‘’ )

I don’t think people get art. I feel like people think art is something created by a tortured soul and you have to go out of your way to go to an art gallery and you have some kind of emotional response and that’s art.

But that’s bullshit

You walk into a grocery store and you’re surrounded by art. Who do you think designs the packages? Fucking artists. Who do you think designed your house? Your bedsheets? Your car? Artists.

Art is a necessity. It’s everywhere, we wear it, we talk about it, we live in it. It’s everywhere. Every color, negative space, font, placement, material, you come into contact with an artist had a hand in that. TV, movies, music, graphics, It’s everywhere, it’s everything

hey, i’m opening up emergency commissions!

here’s what’s going on:

my parent’s food stamps got cut really bad? the place keeps telling my mom that she didn’t turn in the correct information at the beginning of the year. she tried to fix it and turn in every thing, but they keep refusing her. it could be months before we get a decent number of stamps again. (we are getting 60-100 which is only about $120-$200 worth of food. there are eleven of us in the house) it is only like 19th as i type this, and we are pretty much already living off left overs and that’s that we try to find deals and buy reduced food.

if you could commission me, that’d be great! i’d be able to help my parents buy food for us while i am still applying for jobs.

about the commissions:

they are $30, unless you wanna give me more (lol). full color, up to two characters. there’s not a lot of things i won’t draw, so just shoot me a dm if you’re interested! i will only be taking so many at a time, though. spots are limited, so i don’t get overwhelmed, but i will reopen them as i finish the batch i’m on, etc.

yo! these are open again. food stamp situation is the same, but.. pretty much, my parents are threatening to kill (not even take to the pound or let me give her away) my cat unless i get her fixed. i have been trying to get vouchers & stuff, but she has never even had shots and she’s older, so they’re charging me an arm and a leg wherever i go (i literally have $60 in my bank account). so if you could commission me or spread the word, that’d be great!
